MGID Dashboard Settings
To begin, start by creating an event in the MGID dashboard.
- Create or edit an advertising campaign in the dashboard.
2. Navigate to the Conversion tracking section. Click the Postback option in the Tracking settings tab and select Manual setup from the drop-down list.
3. Add a new conversion goal and name the goal “lead”. If desired, you can select an existing goal as well.
For the Adjust system, you MUST use “lead” (case-sensitive) for the Install event.
4. If you want to track post-install in-app events, repeat these steps (i.e., add another goal). Use the same name that you provided in Adjust, exactly as it appears there. Event names are case-sensitive.
You don't have to set the MGID postback link in the Adjust interface for installation. The system will generate it automatically.
Adjust Tracker Dashboard Settings
1. Navigate to the Campaign Lab in the Adjust dashboard and select New Partner.
2. Type MGID and select MGID as the partner.
3. Select your App.
4. Name the link, review all parameters and click Next.
5. Review optional settings and click Next.
6. Edit the Attribution settings (if required) and click Next.
7. Click Create Link.
8. Use this link for teaser creation.
Tracking Setup for an In-App Event
1. Navigate to AppView and select the application from the list.
2. Copy the token that corresponds to the event you want to track.
3. Then, paste your Adjust link in the Encoding tool.
4. For the tool’s next step, paste the event token in the first field and the callback URL in the second field. Use the obtained link to track in-app events.
