An Introduction to the Native Integration Tracking Method

Native Integration provides an intuitive and seamless method for setting up conversion tracking with external systems, directly within the MGID Ads dashboard.

This method provides a solution to connect your campaigns to various third-party platforms  (like trackers, CRM systems, e-commerce, checkout gateways, etc.) with minimal manual effort, no need for codes or snippets, and minimal actions required from the third-party platform, depending on the tool.

The Native integration method is automated and happens under the hood. We expand a gallery with various tools to integrate with. Integrations with these tools may vary in logic and user experience since third-party systems differ. Some integrations require an API key, while others do not. Each integration can differ, and each will have its own specific setup instructions.

Key benefits of the Native integration:

  • Simplified setup process:  Native integrations eliminate the need for Pixel or Postback setups, coding, or additional setup tools. This makes conversion tracking easier and more user-friendly for you.

Enabling Tracking through Native Integration: A Step-by-Step Guide

1. Access your MGID Ads account and create or edit the campaign for which you want to set up tracking. In the conversion tracking section of the process, choose 'Native Integration' as your tracking method.

2. If this is your first integration, click the 'Add Integration'  button to open a gallery of available tools for seamless integration.

2.1. If you're adding an additional integration to an existing list, click the 'Manage Integrations' button to open the gallery of available tools for integration.

3. Choose the tool you'd like to integrate with and follow the setup steps provided in the specific instructions for that tool.
4. Once you've created the conversion goals, click 'Save' or 'Publish' to finalize the campaign. The system allows you to add or remove integrations whenever you like.
