Introduction

Delivery indicators is a feature designed to give users a clear and intuitive way to monitor campaign performance based on budget spend and time progression. By providing a quick assessment of whether a campaign is “on track” or needs optimization, the Delivery indicators feature enables timely adjustments to maximize results. The feature is integrated into the campaign dashboard as a dedicated column.

Here's how this feature enhances efficiency:

  • Saves time on manual tracking – Users no longer have to cross-check budget spend and time remaining across multiple reports, reducing effort and complexity.
  • Delivers real-time insights – Instead of relying on manual pacing estimates, the feature instantly highlights whether a campaign is progressing as planned.
  • Ensures consistent monitoring – Standardized status indicators provide a uniform tracking approach across all campaigns, eliminating inconsistencies.
  • Prevents budget inefficiencies – By flagging potential underspending or overdelivery early, it helps optimize budget allocation before issues arise.

How It Works and How to Use It Effectively

To locate the Delivery indicators column in the campaign dashboard:

  • Open the Campaign Dashboard;
  • Look for the "Delivery indicators" column, which displays the status of your campaign's progress;
  • Hover over the status indicator to view detailed insights on budget utilization and time progress.

Key logic behind the delivery indicators feature:

The Delivery Indicators feature compares Budget Progression (BP) with Time Progression (TP) and assigns a status based on deviation thresholds.

Budget Progression (BP)

  • Daily Budget: (Spent Today / Daily Budget) * 100%
  • Total Budget: (Spent Budget / Total Budget) * 100%

Time Progression (TP)

  • (Elapsed Time (Hours) / Total Time (Hours)) * 100%

Status Calculation (Diff)

  • Diff = TP - BP
  • Determines whether a campaign is on track, behind or ahead of schedule.

The feature determines the campaign status and highlights any misalignment. The dashboard updates indicators automatically based on real-time campaign data — you cannot manually adjust it.

Status

Condition

Meaning

🟢 On Track

Diff≤ 2%

Budget and time progress are aligned.

🟡 Slightly Behind

2% < Diff ≤ 5%

Time is progressing faster than budget, and minor misalignment may need attention.

🟠 Needs Attention

5% < Diff ≤ 10%

Time is progressing significantly faster than budget, and adjustments are needed.

🔴 Far Behind

Diff > 10%

Time is progressing much faster than budget, the campaign is at risk and immediate action is required.

Ahead_status Ahead of Schedule

Diff ≤ -2%

The budget is being spent faster than time.

Use the insights from Delivery indicators to make adjustments to your campaign’s budget pacing and overall strategy.

For campaigns marked Far Behind, Needs Attention or Slightly Behind:

  • Consider increasing the budget or adjusting the spending rate;
  • Review source optimization by analyzing sources with low win rates and increasing coefficients to gain more traffic;
  • Review your blacklist to ensure it is not restricting campaign reach;
  • Consult with your account manager for personalized recommendations on budget pacing and campaign optimization.

Troubleshooting

Possible issues and troubleshooting for delivery indicators:

  • Issue: The delivery indicator is missing

Possible Cause: The metric block is not selected in the metrics list.

Solution: Please verify if the indicator is enabled in the metrics section. If you don’t see it in the selector, feel free to reach out to your account manager for assistance.

  • Issue: Status doesn’t match expectations

Possible Cause: Different pacing mode settings or delays in budget spend updates.

Solution: Review the pacing settings and adjust them if necessary. Additionally, check the budget distribution across sources to ensure optimal allocation.

  • Issue: The status Ahead of Schedule unexpectedly triggered

Possible Cause: High CTR, increased bid competition or budget being spent too fast.

Solution: Consider lowering bids, adjusting the pacing mode, or setting a daily limit if only a total budget is applied.

  • Issue: The status Far Behind, Needs Attention or Slightly Behind is triggered

Possible Cause: Various reasons could be responsible for the trigger: low traffic volume for your targeting, low CPC, or inefficient budget allocation.

Solution: Ensure your targeting has sufficient traffic volume by using the Reach Meter when setting up your campaign.

In Source Optimization, check the win rate — your bid may be too low for certain sources.

You may also need to increase the campaign budget.

If various adjustments don’t help you achieve your goal, please reach out to your account manager for further recommendations.
