AdCombo.com Affiliate Network Integration in MGID Ads
AdCombo Dashboard Settings
Verification of Postback URL Settings
The instruction below covers affiliate network integration. If you want a more comprehensive understanding of AdCombo and MGID integration, please follow this link here.
MGID Dashboard Settings
Start by creating an event and Postback URL in the MGID dashboard.
Follow these steps:
1. Create a new advertising campaign or edit an existing one by clicking on its respective icon in the dashboard.
/Advertisers/1.%20English%20language%20articles/Binom/1.%20newinterface_Dec.png?width=670&height=181&name=1.%20newinterface_Dec.png)
2. Navigate to the Conversion tracking section and select the Postback option in the Tracking settings tab.
/Advertisers/1.%20English%20language%20articles/Binom/2.%20newinterface_Dec.png?width=670&height=347&name=2.%20newinterface_Dec.png)
3. Add a new conversion goal and create a unique name for the goal. You can select an existing goal here as well.
This field accepts only Latin letters and numbers; when filled in, it is automatically assigned as the "e" parameter.
Here, you can also indicate the conversion cost (optional).
AdCombo accepts only three types of conversion goal’s names:
- hold
- confirmed
- reject
/Advertisers/1.%20English%20language%20articles/Binom/3.%20newinterface_Dec.png?width=670&height=345&name=3.%20newinterface_Dec.png)
Repeat these steps (i.e., add another goal) if you want to track more than one conversion goal. The system allows for tracking up to three conversion goals.
4. You can track unique and non-unique conversions using Postback.
Find the conversion counting button under the advanced settings dropdown. By default, it’s set up to track only unique conversions.
However, some funnels require counting multiple conversions with the same click ID. An example of this is a standard funnel with a "purchase" conversion and an upsell action after the first purchase. In this case, counting non-unique conversions feature will be useful for accurate tracking.
The conversion counting setting is available separately for each of the three conversion goals.
/Advertisers/1.%20English%20language%20articles/Binom/5.%20newinterface_Dec.png?width=670&height=345&name=5.%20newinterface_Dec.png)
Keep in mind that if the setting is mistakenly switched to count all conversions, it may result in inaccurate statistics. Use this feature only when necessary for specific scenarios.
5. Choose the AdCombo template from the drop-down list.
The preconfigured template includes all mandatory data, including conversion steps and event names. It will automatically add a GET parameter for {click_id} macro to the tracking link, real {click_id} and {revenue} macros to the postback URL.

Additionally, you can also set up the following fields to meet your specific needs:
- Add additional macro by clicking the plus button;
- Add any additional parameters to your tracking link. Custom tags will be included alongside system-defined macros when your campaigns go live;
- Add UTM tags to the link.
Check the Tracking link preview field to see how the appended part of your tracking link will look with all macros and tags included.

6. Scroll down to the Postback URLs section. Next to the goal name, click Get Postback URL and then copy the URL. Save the link on your device, as you will need it later.
/Advertisers/1.%20English%20language%20articles/AdCombo/9_AdCombo_Dec.png?width=670&height=343&name=9_AdCombo_Dec.png)
7. Save changes if editing, or publish the campaign if creating a new one.
AdCombo Dashboard Settings
Follow these steps:
- Log into the client's dashboard.
- Navigate to the "Offers" tab and select the required Offer from the list.
/Advertisers/1.%20English%20language%20articles/AdCombo/AdCombo_via_MGIDADS_5.png?width=566&height=320&name=AdCombo_via_MGIDADS_5.png)
- Proceed to the “URL Builder” tab (there will be a form with the fields Subaccount 1- 4). These parameters will be transferred after clicking on the teasers later on.

/Advertisers/1.%20English%20language%20articles/AdCombo/AdCombo_via_MGIDADS_6.png?width=670&height=367&name=AdCombo_via_MGIDADS_6.png)
The link in the Tracking URL field will be updated automatically. That's the link you should use during the creation of new teasers.
Copy the link by clicking the icon "Copy link" to the right of the required link. The link won't remain after saving the offer; if you don't copy the link, you'll need to repeat the steps.

4. Insert the link in the teaser’s field in the MGID Dashboard.
5. Select the Postback/Pixel tab in AdCombo.
/Advertisers/1.%20English%20language%20articles/AdCombo/AdCombo_via_MGIDADS_7.png?width=363&height=436&name=AdCombo_via_MGIDADS_7.png)
6. Add the Postback URL you configured on MGID Dashboard earlier with some edits:
https://a.mgid.com/postback/client_ID?c={subacc}&e=lead12345&r={revenue}
Where:
- client_ID is a unique parameter for our system that is transferred to our system alongside the event's status.
- c is a click ID’s macro. For Adcombo, replace the {click_id} with the {subacc} macro.
- e=lead123456 - a Postback goal identifier that can be displayed as a {status} macro or status name.
- r is an optional parameter to which conversion revenue can be transferred.
Then, scroll down and save the settings.
Please do not forget to turn off the "Global Postback" checkbox if you work with other networks.
