Introduction
The AI Image Editor allows you to edit images directly within the MGID interface and instantly apply updates to your campaign creatives, no external tools required.
With the AI Editor, you can:
- Simplifies A/B testing
- Reduces creative production time
- Accelerates campaign launch
The AI Editor is available in the creative creation and editing forms for static images.
Please note, the AI Editor does not support:
- Images selected from the Getty Images gallery
- Motion files (MP4, GIF)
- Images manually uploaded by the Creative Team

How It Works
Once you upload a supported static image in the creative creation or editing form, the AI Editor button becomes available.
To edit your image:
- Click the AI Editor button to open the chat interface.
- Choose one of the quick action options or enter your own custom request.

Quick Action Options
Inside the chat, you can instantly:
- Replace a person or character
- Restyle the image (colors, mood, typography)
- Change the background
- Replace or modify an object
- Change the color of clothing or accessories
- Expand the image
- Improve quality
- Add holiday or seasonal attributes
Users can:
- Use the quick buttons as-is
- Modify and expand them with additional details
- Write custom requests in free-form text
The AI Image Editor supports all languages, making it convenient for global campaigns.
Image Generation
After you submit your edit request, the updated image appears directly in the chat.

Variations Gallery
All generated versions are automatically saved in the Variations Gallery, where you can:
- Select a version for further editing
- Choose one or multiple variations
- Apply selected images directly to your creatives
This makes it easy to compare options and quickly choose the best-performing visual.

Once you close the AI Editor chat, any generated images that were not applied to creatives will no longer be available. To avoid losing your preferred versions, make sure to apply them before closing the chat.
