Webhook Tracking Method

Webhook tracking method allows seamless integration with third-party platforms for conversion tracking. Follow these simple steps to enable it within your MGID campaign.

  1. Go to MGID Ads and either create a new campaign or edit an existing one. Within the Conversion Tracking section, select Webhook as your preferred tracking option.

2. From the dropdown list of third-party platforms (vendors), choose the one you are integrating with.

3. Once the vendor is selected, name your conversion goal (e.g., "order"). Click the Get webhook URL button to generate your unique webhook link. Copy the provided URL – this is the endpoint to be configured on the vendor’s side.

The click_id parameter is automatically included in the tracking tags, so no manual edits are required.

To track multiple goals, simply repeat this step for each new goal.

3. If you're editing an existing campaign, hit Save Changes. For new campaigns, select Publish to go live.

4. Complete the Integration on the vendor’s side. Use the generated webhook URL to configure tracking within the selected vendor's platform.
