Setting up ad code compliant with the GDPR

As a leading Native Advertising Network, MGID is fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), a new European privacy regulation. We would like to assure our clients that all aspects of the new regulations have became effective and are reflected in our updated Privacy Policy

Like many websites, we use cookies to uniquely identify a browser, which gives advertisers an ability to show targeted ads relevant to your website visitors. If your visitors prefer us not to store the unique cookie,  you should enable Opt out script at the website. Note that by opting out, your website visitors still will receive advertising from MGID – it just won't be targeted to them.

Implement this script above MGID ad code, in case your visitor choses to opt out.

<script>
var MG_setRequestNonPersonalizedAds = 1;
</script>

The opt out functionality should be developed and set up by each website owner individually. Please note, that this script will work if only your visitor refreshes the page after choosing to opt out.

For more information refer to your personal account manager.
