Animated Thumbnail Requirements 

  • Supported Formats: GIF, MOV, MP4

  • Minimum Dimensions: 680×680 px
  • Recommended Resolution: 1020×680 px or higher
  • Aspect Ratios: 16:9 (Preferred), 3:2, 1:1
  • Maximum Duration: 15 seconds
  • Maximum Size: GIF / Animation - 5 MB; MP4 / QuickTime / Video - 15 MB

 

Headline Requirements

The following character limits apply to Product, Content, and Search Feed campaigns across all subnets.

  • Title: 90 characters

  • Description: 90 characters

  • CTA: 30 characters

  • Capitalization:
    - In headlines for ads in English each word should be capitalized;
    - In headlines for ads in other languages, only the first word has to be capitalized. Other words should be capitalized according to the specific language’s grammar rules.

Manual Upload

Manual Upload is recommended when creatives contain:

  • Small text elements
  • Multiple visual details
  • Complex layouts that may be affected by automatic processing

In these cases, each format should be uploaded separately to maintain image quality.

Important Notes

  • Manual Upload is available only through the Admin Panel.
  • Manual Upload is available only when creating new ads. It cannot be used when editing existing ads.
  • Only static images can be uploaded via Manual Upload.
  • The maximum size for all file types is 5 MB.
  • Manual Upload is not recommended for Push Ads.

Focal Point

The Focal Point feature allows users to manually define which area of an image should remain visible after cropping.

  • Available only for static images.
  • The button becomes active after at least one image has been uploaded.

When the Focal Point option is selected:

  1. A side panel opens, displaying the original image.
  2. Preview crops for all supported formats are generated.
  3. Users can:
    • Select the most important area of the image;
    • Adjust the crop position manually;
  4. The result can be previewed before saving.
  5. After saving, the selected crop settings are applied to the creative.
